Thesis Prize @ Chair Dennie Lockefeer

In 2021, the Dennie Lockefeer Chair will award the thesis prize for the second time. This prize (1000 euro) is intended for the best thesis on a related topic to inland navigation.

Staff prizes @ TPR: Gobelijntjes!

Katrien De Langhe and Eddy Van de Voorde each got awarded a 'Gobelijntje', which are the Prizes for the most popular lecturer at FBE UAntwerp.

Staff prizes @ TPR: Education Award

Ann Verhetsel got awarded the Education Prize by the Faculty of Business and Economics, especially for her innovative approaches in lecturing and the virtual excursions to London and Paris she set up.

new TPR doctor: Thomas Van Asch

On 28 September, Thomas Van Asch succesfully defended his PhD at the University of Antwerp, on the topic of 'Airport Competitiveness and European Airports: Markets and Strategy'.

new TPR doctor: Sven Buyle

On 29 September, Sven Buyle succesfully defended his PhD at the University of Antwerp, on the topic of 'Evolution of Air Navigation Service Provider business models within the Single European Sky'.

new TPR junior researcher: Jeffrey Willems

On 15 September, Jeffrey Willems started working at TPR as a junior researcher. He will work on a project for the Belgian federal government on circular economy and maritime potential.

SPEED project workshop on innovation support

On 1 October, 15 happy participants in the SPEED WorkGroup 5 session 1, brainstormed on Institutions' actions and Innovation that can close the digital gap in port ecosystems
